Being mindful that we already have on the Forum a discussion about 'Who would you go out of your way to hear?', I thought that perhaps this should be balanced by a sister-forum that asks - 'Who would you go out of your way to Read?'

This can be a never ending, exhaustive list...however, below are a few categories and names that got me thinking....I hope that many varied voices from this network can add to this small beginning - so that WE can inform each other of a myriad of inspiring works from all perspectives...

I don't know if my post went through or not, but I wrote that I'd go out of my way to read anything written by Byron Katie ("Who Would You Be Without Your Story" and "A Thousand Names for Joy").

Byron Katie's philosophy of life and tools for healing and preventing emotional suffering ("emotional suffering is optional!") are the simplest but most radical I've ever come across. Of course, it helps to have an accurate picture of life on this planet, so I thank Dr. Dennis for his books as well. We are all one, and Byron Katie has done an incredible job of educating many thousands of people across of the world to a happier way of life. Blessings, Mava
